Location of this place not the best. But food in here unbelievably delicious. I can definitely recommend: 1. Lamb briyani 2. Chicken masala 3. Fish tandoori 4. Lamb butti 5. Cheese naan Every single plat is yummy. Hot traditional tea is tasty and free. Never thought I'll be so satisfied with food in this neighborhood!

One of the best Indian restaurants in the city. No frills, super authentic, and flavorful. I've lived down the street from Chutney for 6 years and eat there at least once a week. It never disappoints.

You cannot argue with the taste and utter magic that is of Chutney's Tikka Masala! The ambiance is basic, the service is hardly there. You risk your life navigating the TL if you dine in. And if you do dine in, you pay after you eat. I have been coming here & ordering takeout for well over a decade and continue to come back like it's a spiritual pilgrimage. Some things are worth all the compromises they can present. I love this place.

Chutney is my favorite place if I want to eat Indian food. Best Indian food in this area. Great tikamasala and tendori chicken.

Food was so good! Portions aren't big but it's generous for the price you pay. Between my husband and I, we ordered chicken tikka masala, ground chicken and beef seikh, rice, and garlic naan. It all came to roughly $30 and it was plenty of food for us. The service was okay and the ambiance is very basic. It definitely gives off a false vibe. You walk in and order your food, sit down and eat, then go up to pay. The place is very chill. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Will be back.

You might not be impressed by the restaurant's presentation and decor, but the food here is really good. When I came here and saw no one was inside. I had a second thought whether we should try somewhere else. But, my friend insisted. We ordered two curries (one lamb and one chicken) and a chicken wrap. We loved all of them. They were all so tasty and creamy. I ate some fast, and that is how good that is. They also give out free chia milk tea. It was pretty good too. The people here are very nice. They spent time talking about their specials. I will come back or order take out next time.

Hot take, but the tenderloin is home to some of the best food in San Fransisco. I said what I said. Chutney is a halal Pakistani/ Indian restaurant that delivers. Making food for the heart and serving customers at break neck speeds, this restaurant is an essential for San Fransisco Muslims and anyone who enjoys this type of cuisine. Ordering delivery or coming in during Ramadan nights, chutney is the best in its class. The chicken is flavorful, the naan is fluffy, and the curries are to die for! The restaurant itself is a delight, and is so inviting for families and friends
